Mahali Mzuri is Sir Richard Branson’s 12-tented luxury safari camp located in the private Olare Motorogi Conservancy to the north of Kenya's famous Maasai Mara National Reserve at an elevation of 1700m above sea level. The camp is perched on the side of a lush valley with views over the rolling plains. The camp has an excellect location which ensures you have a front row seat, not just to the annual great migration, but also to the abundant game you can see all year round.
The camp is accessible by either road or air. By road, the drive from Nairobi to Mahali Mzuri is approximately 5 hours ( 245 km).
By air, you can book a flight from Nairobi Wilson Airport to Olare Orok airstrip and the transfer from the airstrip to camp is approximately 25 minutes. The second airstrip is the Mara North airstrip where the journey by vehicle to the camp is roughly one hour's drive.
Other than the Safari Game drives, there are numerous activities in Masai Mara that one may choose to include in their itinerary such as hot air balloon safari, maasai village tour , nature & bush walks , as well as bush meals & sundowners. All these activities are optional but quite exciting and enhances your Safari experience but come at an added cost.
